Great Buy January 21, 2010 Deal Seeker 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I like others here purchased this TV as a Today's Deal on the 15th for $390 and was extremely pleased to receive it within 24 hours of purchase, kudos to Amazon! I am by no means a technical person, my son normally sets up everything for me, however, I had this set up within 10 minutes. I do not have this hooked up to a HD receiver as yet, standard Direct TV receiver, and the picture is excellent. I am not sure why there is so many remarks about sound, it sounds great to me. I did not purchase to play games or use as a computer monitor, just to watch TV in my home office. Bottom line, great buy for my needs and I would recommend to other consumers.

Since this was my first HD flat screen purchase, I spent weeks stalking the web and retailers for a 32" with great features and price. I love Toshiba's, but my budget didn't,(sold my 7-yr-old model and hated to see it go) so my search was limited to 720p,...or so i thought...until, I spotted this FANTASTIC "deal-of-the day" on 1/15 and snagged one up pronto.
The TV shipped free and arrived at 2:00PM the next day! WOW! So, it was simple to set-up and although it's only 3 days later, I am confident I won't be complaining because this TV has phenominal picture and sound quality and we saved money.
It's a perfect fit for our Family Room and our budget. I'm thinking my new Toshiba will be around a while.
WOW! January 20, 2010 Tim Collins 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased this Toshiba 32 inch LCD TV on 1-15-10. It was a "Gold Box" deal of the day. Even without the special price, I still believe it is superbly priced. This TV is one of the few 32" LCD TVs on the market that is in full HD, (1080P). There are a total of (7) A/V inputs on this set. THREE HDMI, two component, one s-video, and one composite video, just about all the inputs you will need. I must say, this TV is excellent. Great picture, AND great sound! It does not come with a headphone jack in case some of you were wondering. No problem for me, since I have no use for one. The set is stylish, with a piano black bezel. This TV can be wall mounted if you prefer, since the holes are already drilled for a wall mount. You can turn the "lighted" Toshiba name on the bottom of the front of the TV on or off, whichever you prefer, in case the light distracts you. This set comes with a "Gaming Mode" if you want to use that feature when you play video games. The remote is about 7-8" long, and is well placed. The remote is however, not lit. Personally, I don't believe you can get a better LCD TV for the money.
What a deal January 21, 2010 M. Harmon (Beaverton, OR) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I also purchased as a gold box deal - took it out of the box, attached the pedistal, hooked up the cable and plugged it in - no adjustments needed at all. Works great, sound is just fine for the bedroom and I am very happy. And I don't even have an HD cable box hooked up to it yet! I feel the TV is a great value.
An Excellent Value January 30, 2010 GBS 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
If you are looking for a bedroom TV and/or don't want to spend big bucks for a Samsung, definitely consider this one. For a 32 inch 1080 TV with a brand name (Toshiba) that's been around, this is a fantastic value at ~ $400. Picture and sound are very good, and it has plenty of useful features, including the ability to pull cable HD channels without a decoder box. You likely won't get everything the provider offers, but count on the major broadcast networks at a minimum. Anyway, this one spends most of its time hooked to the Roku box watching Netflix movies. Use the HDMI inputs for best results.
